Jackson Hole, WY

11

Jackson Hole, Wyoming is a "must see" in the country. It has beauty like you would only see in a magazine. I have been to Jackson Hole before so I knew what to expect when I showed up, and it certainly did not disappoint. The scenery was breathtaking and the weather was impeccable. Jackson Hole, to me, is therapy. I had a wonderful time up there just moseying around taking pictures of what I thought was worth the shot. I was able to walk down to some rivers and catch some of the wildlife around me. I had been to one of the rivers before so I knew where it was and what was around it so that was nice but the other was the Snake River and I had not explored it too much. Being up in Wyoming is so relaxing. There's nothing to worry about and all I could think about was photography. I was able to take pictures of a really photogenic elk that I swear knew he was being photographed, so he stayed with me for about 45 minutes on my last day. He pranced around, looking all stout and even paused so I could get some great shots of him. Out of all the days I was there though, the first night rolling into the Teton Village at the base of the Grand Teton mountain range was definately my favorite. The skies were crystal clear with no wind and a slight chill. It just made it so much better with the fact that I was able to take pictures of the mountains. Jackson Hole will always hold a special place in my heart for its peace and relaxation only it can offer...
