Colorado Springs, Colorado is my birthplace so it has a ton of sentimental value to me. I've only been back to the springs twice since I moved away when I was two. During my trip I was able to visit Dylan Day for his birthday and spend some time with him which was exciting. On my second day in the Springs I decided to venture up the mountain, Pikes Peak that is. Pikes Peak is the highest summit it the southern Front Range in the Rocky Mountains standing at over 14,000 ft above sea level. It overlooks Colorado Springs and it's surrounding cities and out into the plains of Kansas. I was also able to get shots of the mountain from different angles, leaving and coming into the springs. Colorado Springs is my birthplace and there's always something special about your birthplace. To me its the mountain vibes and the atmosphere the city has around it that make it so special to me...
